Beautiful, definitely an heirloom. Kids looked forward to adding an ornament every day. The readings were beautiful too, but even if we missed a reading here and there, it’s an awesome new tradition.

Absolutely love this. Kept my very hyper 2.5 year old boy very calm for Mass in the *front row.* Also a bonus is that it sticks to (and easily peels off of) the back of the pew in case they want recreate a Mass scene off the book itself. 10/10 recommend.

This is my first year using the G&P planner. I like the academic version, as my husband is a teacher, so summer is a much better time for me to transition from an old planner to a new one. The layout is fabulous and I love how easy it is to flip to the habit trackers or the note taking page for the month. This is getting a lot of use already, just a month and a half in. I will note that you really need a flat space to keep this open if you are to use it effectively. It's so big that it's unlikely you'll be carrying it around with you a ton, but for a SAHM and music teacher, it's perfect.

I absolutely love the prayers in this prayer booklet! I showed it to my daughter, and she immediately wanted one. The communion prayers by the different saints are very inspirational and prayerful. I was hoping to get several of these booklets to give to my daughters and friends. I hope they will be back in stock soon.

The kids love these. The colors are significantly more vibrant than other water reveal books we've owned. But these are extra special because of the Catholic themes. They definitely help the kids with mental prayer.
I love my planner. The size is a bit unwieldy for bringing in a bag, but it's perfect for laying on a desk. I'm still getting used to all the things in it, but I love using it!

July is Command Center Re-ignition time. Engines warm, not just from the heat outside, but from what we know waits for us as August and September creep onto our radar. I needed something that really sounds more like a miracle a Mama might pray for… and Sweet Providence above graced me with this chef’s kiss of a calendar. This is my second Gather & Pray planner but the first academic layout. I struggled before with, admittedly, individual sensory issues. Namely 1) what I call the “cliffs” – the uneven, drop-off writing spaces on the right hand side that essentially are the brilliance of a captain’s view dashboard; and 2) the annoyance/distraction/funky-feel of bumping up against the wire when writing in the weekday planning on the left facing page. There are easy adaptions to make utilization of this beloved Command Central user-friendly for the sensory-distracted writers like me (See attached photos). Basically, padding my writing surfaces resolves much of my run-agrounds. The Japanese actually have a name for it — Shitajiki— because it is a common method to employ for sturdier writing surfaces. I’m trying this planner again because the premise — keeping our Faith the center of our day to day — was the most appealing aspect. Our children all begin Catholic school this fall, so could this be any more ideal? The functional necessity of seeing our month, my to-do list, my day-to-day without flipping around is key. In other calendars, Flip-around and find-out-real-fast that you’ll forget to include key monthly highlights on your weekly/daily plan. Not with this beaut, Clark. For aspiring bullet-journalers, this planner offers it ALL (devotion, organization, sketching, pre-gaming and scheduling) in a refined and elegant manner. The paper, the aesthetic … are unrivaled. If you need more space you may need to readjust your lives because our vocation and intention as Mothers and Fathers are PRESENCE— seeking Him; and being PRESENT with our Loves. I used to approach planners as a fill-in-the-blank challenge and felt defeated if I wasn’t as busy as I perceived many other families to be. This isn’t our calling. It is instead what divides and distracts, stresses and overwhelms. Simplification and ready utilities streamline our day.
